A Summer Session • Wakefield Rhode Island Family Photo
Last month I had the pleasure of shooting a family photo session at a beautiful location in Wakefield. Bucolic, even. My travels as a Rhode Island family photographer have taken me to lots of gorgeous places but I wouldn't be lying if I said this one might be my favorite. Before the shoot I was told that the location was gorgeous. Yeah, that wasn't a lie.
And this family...I love them! Mom grew up here, but the family lives in Europe now and this was their first trip back with their two children. I had so much fun counting to ten with Mr. Toddler, while I spent an awful lot of time admiring the roly poly baby goodness of Mr. Baby. One of the best parts of the session was when we went out to the pasture and laid a quilt under the giant swamp maple tree. I got the lowdown that cows from other places in South Kingstown come to cow day care in this pasture and really love to hang out under this maple tree. Who wouldn't?!
