Special Edition Princess Sessions are some of my favorite sessions to photograph. What's even more fun is when I get NEW dresses in the spring for this year's princess sessions! It's like Christmas and Fashion Week, all rolled into one! I love getting the dresses out to show everyone what beautiful dresses are available this year.

This dress...oh my gosh, it is GORGEOUS. It may be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. It absolutely calls for magical photos in a garden or another beautiful and natural setting. My plan was to do sample photos of it in such a location. But, as a children's photographer in Southern RI, I know that spring weather can be tricky. Gorgeous one day, then raining and muddy and cold for a whole week.

So rather than wait for the warmth and flowers, we went to the warmth and flowers. We went to Clark Farms' Matunuck location, where their giant greenhouse was the setting of one of my favorite shoots last spring. This gorgeous dress matched the flowers in the greenhouse. We even went a little further, channeling the talented and beautiful artist Frida Kahlo, who loved her gardens. The always-beautiful princess, Miss M, did an amazing job as Frida.
