I had my first shoot of the year on January 2. It was on Sand Hill Cove. It was a toasty 37 degrees. I have worked with my two wonderful subjects twice before. I met them early last spring when I was looking for some dancers. For this shoot, I had some ideas. The beach a bit before sunset (when the light changes from warm to blue to orange to pink to....whatever); my 200mm lens (named Buddy); and these ladies. They were ready and willing. I told them my #1 priority was that they stay warm. I'm pretty sure the kids these days may have a different idea of warm than I do, but they were amazing as usual. See below.
