Project Light: January II • Rhode Island Family Photographer

January has been a fun month for me.  I've been shooting all for myself since January is part of my "off" time where I take a break and make plans for my business for the coming year.  I definitely miss my Rhode Island Family Photographer gig, taking photos of families and little ones both indoors and out, but it's also fun to recharge my batteries and just shoot whatever.  The "quiet light" theme was still in effect for all of January so where there was quiet light, I stalked it.

Most of the photos in this post are from my trip to Puerto Rico the last third of the month.  They don't tell the whole story; the rest of the photos are coming.  But quiet light is everywhere, including Rincon.  And the Providence airport, and at home in Wakefield, too.  Looking at all the photos from Puerto Rico makes me want to be back there right about now so let's go.  At least vicariously.  Make sure your tray tables are up and your seat backs are in their upright position and let's see the rest of January's light.  Did you go anywhere this January?  Even if it was to the next town over, tell me about your January fun in the comments.
