Project Light: July II • Southern RI Children's Photographer

I figured now that it's September, I can blog the second half of my July Project Light.  The best things come to those who wait, right?

If you recall from the first half of the July photos that were blogged back in, well, July, the theme for July was backlight.  My favorite kind of light.  The second half of July had me finding it all around the yard, all around Lionel, and in Narragansett during the Blessing Of The Fleet road race.  Since I didn't run it this year, I got to watch and photograph the Really Fast Runners (i.e. those who run faster than I can run even in my dreams) come in.  Watching them is almost as good as running the race.

If you're ready to see some backlight (and some cats), take a look below.  It's almost like a time machine trip to earlier in the summer.  No plutonium, clock tower, or lightning strike required.  What was your favorite part of your July?  Let me know in the comments!
