Project Light: May II • South County RI Children's Photographer

I'm not sure if anyone else is with me here but this year seems like it is flying by.  It feels like it was just last week that it was winter (even though it wasn't too bad this year) and now the windows are constantly open, shorts are back in the clothing rotation, and the cat is once again hunting crickets.

This time of year is when things start to get busy for me as a southern RI children's photographer.  So many wonderful little people to photograph (which I LOVE) so I don't get to pick up the camera for myself quite as much as during the earlier part of the year.  I did still manage to squeeze out some more photos for the second half of May for my 2016 Project Light, though.  This month's theme, composition and light, took me on adventures in my front yard, back yard, the South County bike path, and Narragansett Beach on a foggy day, to name a few.  For all of you Lionel fans, he does make a cameo!   One of the most fun things that I did during the second part of May was to try out a new optic for my beloved Lensbaby.  It's called the Twist 60 and gives a super nifty swirly background effect.  Can't wait to play with it more!

Check out the second half of May below.  Do you want to see more cat for June?  Let me know either way in the comments!  He tries to be camera ready!
