Basic Digital Photography For Moms: 3 Reasons To Sign Up! • RI Children's Photographer
You all know that I'm a RI children's photographer, but did you also know that I teach photography as well? I do both one on one and group teaching to photographers of varying levels.
On June 3, I'm hosting a brand new class: Basic Digital Photography For Moms! This class, which will be from 1:30-4:30 PM on June 3 at Green Line Apothecary in Wakefield, is great for anyone (moms, grandmas, dads, aunts, moms to pets) who has a DSLR and wants to start taking great photos with it but doesn't quite know how or where to start. All you need is yourself, a DSLR camera and at least one lens, something to write with, and a willingness to learn!
This class is going to be super fun and really informative as well. There are still a few spots left. Read below for three reasons why you should sign up for this class, and make sure to register for one of those last few spots! I can't wait to see you there.
1. It's a hands-on class.
People learn best in different ways. Especially when you're learning something new, it can be very helpful to be in an environment where you can learn in a hands-on manner...it can help things click. This class is very hands-on; you get to have your camera with you to learn right along as we go. Plus, the small class size helps students get individualized attention.
2. It's OK to be a beginner here.
Being a beginner at anything can be intimidating, even as an adult. We want to do well. We don't want to make a fool out of ourself. It can be really stressful, and that can stop us from trying new things or can slow our learning process. But at this class, there's nothing to worry about. It's aimed at those who are newer to photography and using DSLRs, and it will be a comfortable learning environment no matter what your knowledge level is.
3. You can keep learning after the class.
There are a lot of things that we're going to go over in this class...there's so much great information! In order to make sure that you don't forget anything you learned in the class, and so you can refer back to it at any time, each student gets a bound workbook that is theirs to keep. We'll be going over everything in it during the class, and you can take a look at it any time you want. And if you ever have any questions about anything covered in the class, I'm always a message away.
