Brother And Sister Studio Portraits • RI Children's Photographer
Now that the weather is cold, I’m really enjoying being able to have sessions in my studio in Charlestown. Outdoor sessions are also great (even in winter) but staying warm is a definite bonus for clients and me alike. Plus it’s always nice to take a drive down to the Cross Mills section of Charlestown.
Back in November, I got to do some studio portraits of a brother and sister pair. These two were some of the first children I ever photographed as a RI children’s photographer. It seems like that was just the other day, but they’re so much more grown up now! It’s incredible to see how fast kids grow and change in what seems like a relatively short time for those of us who are adults.
Both kids were dressed to the nines. Miss G got to wear the newest dress in the princess closet, perfect for winter, indoors or out. Her brother, Mr. J, came rocking the collared shirt and dress pants. It was a great time with both of them. Miss G LOVED the dress and she’d probably still be wearing it now if she could. She was a perfect model (and those flowers she’s posing with below are kale flowers! Who knew that those existed!). Mr. J and I talked about Napoleon Dynamite, which is one of his favorite movies. He’s got great taste!
