Every once in awhile as a RI children's photographer, I meet a young man or young lady who might not be the most enthusiastic about having their photos taken, at least at first. This might sound like a bad thing for a photographer, but it doesn't bother me! First, I can empathize. Secret: I love being behind the camera, but I'm not always excited about being in front of it. Second, those unenthusiastic subjects ALWAYS end up having fun.

Such was the case with Mr. D. Having his photos taken was not at the top of his list...at least that's what he thought when he came into my Wakefield studio. However, about two or three minutes into our session, he realized that he was a natural...and he also decided to let me know that he is definitely a comedian. Thanks to him, there are now quite a few more jokes that I can add to my kids' joke repertoire. And, he even asked if we could do this again soon as he was leaving. Success? I think so!
