Spring is coming (I promise). And although Special Edition Princess Sessions happen all year round, spring through early fall is when most of them occur.
These sessions are pretty fabulous if I do say so myself. I wish I’d been able to have one of my own as a little girl! They’re such an amazing experience for all involved, especially the subject(s). There are multiple questions that I often receive on these sessions. Maybe one of them is something you’ve been wondering. Read on to find out more about these fun sessions!
WHAT EXACTLY MAKES THESE SESSIONS SO SPECIAL?
These sessions are special for a lot of reasons! Of course one of the biggest things is that young ladies get to choose a dress from AKP’s princess closet. There are lots of beauties to choose from! The sessions are full of twirling, dancing, bubbles, and giggles. At the end of each session, there’s a special princess goodie bag for each princess! Special Edition Princess Sessions are a special, memorable, once in a lifetime experience. Parents and kids treasure the photos from these sessions. Many young ladies have big canvases from their sessions in their bedrooms or spend time looking through their photo albums on a regular basis!
WHAT SIZES ARE YOUR DRESSES?
AKP’s Princess Closet currently has dresses ranging from size 4 through size 10. Many are very flexible in their sizing and can be worn by multiple sizes (ie a size 6 may be able to be worn by children size 5 through 7/8 depending on the dress and the child). If I do not carry your child’s size, we also have the option to rent a beautiful princess dress that is just right.
HOW CAN MY CHILD/CHILDREN PICK DRESSES FOR THEIR SESSION?
We can schedule an appointment at my studio in Charlestown, and your children can try on all the dresses they want until they say yes to the dress!
WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS HELD?
There are multiple outdoor locations that I use for these sessions. At our initial consult, we will discuss location options and I will show you examples from each location. The final decision on where to have the session is up to you!
I HAVE MORE THAN ONE DAUGHTER. ARE THESE SESSIONS SUITABLE FOR MULTIPLE PRINCESSES?
Yes! These sessions are great for sisters. Sessions for more than one girl will include both group and individual photos. There are plenty of dress options that will coordinate well together.
I HAVE A BOY AND A GIRL (OR MULTIPLE BOYS AND GIRLS). CAN MY SON BE PART OF THESE SESSIONS?
Yes, boys are also welcome to participate. While I do not provide wardrobe for boys, I will discuss clothing options that will work well with the dresses I provide so that we can achieve the overall look that you’re aiming for.
