June is always the month that I sort of breathe a sigh of relief, because I know that (usually!) I can count on the weather to be warmer and more stable. Even if it rains, it's not super cold. It's also when, as a RI children's photographer, outdoor sessions really ramp up. That yummy warmth and evening light make for gorgeous photos.

The first half of June was a mix of clouds and sun, and my Project 365 photos reflect that. But even on the cloudy days, there were flowers (surprise flowers, even...like the chives that unexpectedly grew in an old flower pot) and rays of light reaching from the clouds to the ocean. And the cat. Because Lionel is always up for some photos, especially if it involves catnip. June is also the month when my weekly CSA share starts. This is one of the highlights of my week from June through October. Who doesn't love farm fresh vegetables? There is a veggie photo included, and I'm sure there will be more through the summer and fall.
