Western Puerto Rico Part III • RI Children's Photographer

As I sit here in the gray and chilly February air (ok, I'm not actually sitting outside, but you get my drift), my mind drifts back a few weeks to the warm weather in Puerto Rico.  I already shared some of the photos here and here.  This is the third and final installment of the photos from that wonderful place.

The last five or so days of our trip, I took fewer photos.  We both got sick while on vacation (bummer, yes, but it could've been worse).  It's a bit harder to pick up your camera when you're not feeling great and for the most part, can't leave the house.  That said, there were still plenty of photo opportunities to be found.  ANOTHER cat, a reappearance of the lizard, the full moon and some other photos taken at night, and, of course, more surfing.  Each time we leave Puerto Rico, another piece of my heart gets left behind.  It's why we keep going back.

If you haven't ever visited Puerto Rico, but are thinking about it, GO!  As a RI children's photographer, I've met a number of clients who also share the same love I have of this magical island and of Rincon and the western side.  The laid back pace makes you slow down, which, for most of us, is not a bad thing.  Puerto Rican people are open and welcoming.  You never know when you might have a conversation with a local:  at a surf break, in the laundromat, the grocery store...you come away with a lot of new friends and experiences you'll always remember.
