Two Autumn Princesses • RI Children's Photographer
There is a closet and part of a room in my house filled with puffy dresses. This is a nice side effect of being a RI children's photographer--I photograph a lot of princess sessions so the princess dresses make part of the house a magical fairy land. No unicorns have been spotted yet, but I'm hopeful.
Anyhow, out of all the lovely dresses in the collection, a beautiful white one with colorful embroidery is my favorite out of the bunch. Recently I got the black version of the dress (just as lovely!) in a smaller size and just had to photograph them together.
Several weeks ago, I had a session with a pair of sisters and the two dresses. It was perfect! We met at one of the few spots in South Kingstown that still had fall leaves hanging around after the October storm blew many of them off. Older sister Miss S got to wear the white dress, which went beautifully with her hair and freckles. Her younger sister Miss V looked wonderful in the black dress (and sported some lovely lavender cowboy boots underneath!) Both girls were easy to photograph by themselves and also together...there were lots of giggles when they got together, which was adorable.
Take a look below to see photos from their session. Which dress is your favorite? I can't decide!
