2019 Project 365: August Part I | RI Family Photographer
Even though I’ve been taking photos every day, I’m so behind on going through them all, organizing, and editing them! Such is the life of a RI family photographer during the busy season (and no complaints about being busy!)
Now that it’s two months later, I figured now was as good a time as any to post some photos from August and reminisce on summertime and warmer days. A lot of the photos I took in July, August, and September consisted of me having just a small amount of time each day to take a photo, and that can limit creativity some, but I worked with it.
A lot of the images were taken in my house or yard, but not all. One day, my faithful dog companion and I ventured to Jamestown, which is a Big Deal because I’m terribly afraid of driving over bridges (but I keep doing it hoping the fear will someday go away….it hasn’t…yet!) Also featured is a farm fresh watermelon, which I really miss right now. Take a look below to see the first half of August.
8/1/19 • Flying
This guy (or girl) was flying right before landing on this lilac.

8/3/19 • Energy
This little fly or whatever was so tiny and spent a lot of its energy flying back and forth from leaf to leaf.
8/4/19 • Your favorite dessert
I could really go for some watermelon right now.
8/5/19 • Cats
Or evidence thereof. Since Lionel was not being cooperative for a photo.
8/6/19 • Locks
8/7/19 • What I wore
Taken right before I left for Crossfit, with my workout shoes!
8/8/19 • Mushrooms
If only this prompt had been in September or October, I would’ve had photos of actual mushrooms.
8/9/19 • Bridge
8/10/19 • Wish
Probably all of us wish for luck, and look for signs, like finding a four leaf clover somewhere in the bunch. i still haven’t found one, but I won’t stop wishing.

8/12/19 • Macro Monday
