Roger Wheeler Beach Family Photo Session | RI Family Photographer
Whenever I first talk to a client, we have a conversation about what they are looking for out of a photo session, what is making them want to have a session right now, what they’d like to do with the photos from the session, and more. As a RI family photographer, this helps me design a session that is totally perfect for exactly what each client wants.
In late spring I spoke with a client who had bid on a session from me at an event for the Maddie Potts Foundation. She’d won and was SO excited because she REALLY wanted updated family photos. She and her husband have two young adult children, and they haven’t had photos as a family in awhile. Plus, it was recently a milestone anniversary for her and her husband and she wanted some photos of just the two of them to mark this. She was picturing prints of these images on her wall. And she definitely wanted to have the session on a beach, because she and her family love the beach.
OK, awesome! We planned a session on Roger Wheeler Beach (or, as I still call it, Sand Hill Cove) in early June. We talked about what outfits would be perfect for a beach session. Session night was night perfect for a family session. I absolutely loved this family and how they interacted with each other! As I was photographing the session, I just knew these images were going to be exactly what they wanted. Capturing the love of families is why I do what I do. Knowing that people will hang this love on their walls is the best.
