Sibling Session at Kinney Azalea Garden | RI Family Photographer
Combine a beautiful location with a great family and what do you get? A great photo session with photos that will be memories for a lifetime.
As a RI family photographer, it’s always an honor to get to photograph families multiple times. This sibling set is no exception. I’ve worked with them multiple times, including photos of the individual kids, multiple sets of sibling photos, and senior photos for the oldest. The second oldest just graduated from high school, so we planned a session that was a combo of a sibling photo session (the last time we did a session with all 7, the youngest was an infant!) and some senior photos for the graduate.
We decided on having the session at Kinney Azalea Garden in Kingston, where the oldest had her senior photos two years ago. It’s such a beautiful location whether the azaleas are in bloom or not. We planned our session for late May, when the azaleas would be in full bloom. I was so surprised when I arrived to find that there were far fewer blooms on the plants this year than in years past. The owner explained to us that the warmer winter followed by the winter freeze in February had caused many plants, including their azaleas, to put out far fewer blooms this year. Not to worry, we still had a great session. Mom does a fantastic job of styling her kids for sessions (need help with what to wear for your session, or where to have it? I’m here to help with that!) and their outfits were a perfect complement to the location. This family is such a pleasure to work with, and the littlest one had me cracking up the whole time. Take a look at some of the images from our session below. Make sure to get in touch to schedule your family’s next session.
