Winter Studio Family Session | RI Family Photographer
It is the absolute BEST when families come to see me repeatedly. I’m honored that they chose me once again to document their family, and seeing kids grow and seeing new members added to families is the best.
The B family is no exception. Since their oldest was a baby, I’ve done sessions of both the family and just the kids multiple times. The last time I saw them was just about two years ago, when younger brother was around six months old. Now he is 2 1/2 and his older brother is 5 1/2 and it was time for some new photos!
We decided to do a session in my Charlestown studio…much warmer in there during the winter! After we had to reschedule once due to a February snowstorm, we finally got to do our session. Mom mentioned that little brother hadn’t had his hair cut at all yet and they were wanting to get photos taken before his first haircut. I couldn’t wait to see his hair! When they arrived at the studio, I saw that he had gorgeous blond hair with little curls in the back…I’m jealous!
Our session went great. The entire family are old pros now, having been in front of the camera multiple times. Mom did a great job picking outfits for everyone. I learned that little brother loves bubbles and big brother taught me how to count when I had a little bit of trouble forgetting my numbers counting to ten. That always happens! The best part of family photo sessions is seeing the bond between the family. This one was no exception, and it was my pleasure to capture it for them.
