Goddard Park Senior Photo Session | RI Senior Photographer
One of the coolest things about my job is being able to photograph clients multiple times and seeing how they grow and change over the years. It is always an honor to get to photograph important moments in clients’ lives; to be able to do it multiple times is even better.
That was the case with a recent senior photo session for a South Kingstown High School senior. Five years ago I did family photos for a mom and daughter. I can’t believe it’s been that long, but that’s another story. Mom reached out to me and let me know her daughter is a senior this year (how the heck did that happen so fast!) and they’d like me to photograph her senior photos. As a RI senior photographer, of course I said yes! I have great memories of the last session we did together, where the daughter sang while I was taking her photos. It gave me chills! I was looking forward to catching up with her.
We chose Goddard Park in East Greenwich for the session. The park has the perfect mix of great locations between all the paths, beautiful trees, the old carousel building, the bridge, and of course the beach. Our session was on one of the last warm days of fall. It was early October but it seemed like summer was sticking around a bit longer. This was an amazing session…the light was perfect and we had fun talking about what this amazing senior was up to and what she plans on doing after graduation. I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes…she’s amazing. Her dog came along too, and the doggo got in a few photos because how could we pass up that opportunity? Everyone needs photos with their dog.
Check out some of the images from our session below. If you have a high school junior who’s going to be a senior next year, get in touch. It’s never to soon to start planning!
