Molly's Senior Photos at Green Hill | RI Senior Photographer
It’s summer and high school senior photo sessions are in full swing. This year I’ve had the privilege of photographing the children of two people I graduated from high school with. It’s still a little crazy to think that we can have kids old enough to be graduating from high school with ourselves (I don’t know about you, but I’m still 17…I think), but either way it’s been fantastic to photograph them.
Molly’s senior session in early June was one of these sessions. Molly did her senior session later in the year, just about a week before she graduated. She went to Chariho just like her mom and I did, so it was fun to reminisce a bit and also hear how much things have changed since back in the day.
We did Molly’s senior photos at Green Hill Beach in South Kingstown; it’s a place that she really likes. It was a warm and sunny day, until we got about two miles from the beach and it was foggy and about 15 degrees cooler. As a photographer in RI, this is pretty much par for the course in the summer, so we rolled with it. Photos in the fog and mist are super cool and Molly did a great job. She came prepared with several outfit changes and we took some photos on the road next to the beach (I never say no to a road) before wandering onto the beach itself, where the fog rolled in even more. I learned that Molly is working two jobs this summer (awesome) and will be starting at CCRI in the fall. Make sure to wish her luck!
