Senior Portraits at Wilcox Park | RI Senior Photographer
Senior photo season is in full swing. I’ve had a bunch of them for the last few months…as a RI senior photographer, July through October is prime time for senior portraits (though I’ve done them all months of the year!)
Earlier this month I got to photograph Mia, an East Lyme, CT high school senior, at Wilcox Park in Westerly. There are lots of clients whom I’ve known forever and who I’ve watched grow up, and Mia is no exception. Her mother and I are first cousins and we grew up together and went to middle and high school together. I vividly remember her mother coming to visit when she was very pregnant with Mia and us sitting on the couch and talking. This seems like it was last week and yet now Mia is in her senior year of high school and has grown into an intelligent, beautiful, and mature young woman. The future holds so much for her and I can’t wait to see what she does. I was very honored to be picked to do her senior portraits!
We had our session on a very warm early September evening. The skies had been a little ominous earlier in the day, but fortunately they cleared a bit and the rain held off. We wandered around the park and stopped at a number of different locations for photos. I love that about Wilcox Park…it’s super versatile. We even found the dahlias were blooming which was a pleasant surprise! Mia’s younger sister came along as well and we took a few photos with her included. Take a look below to see some of the photos from this awesome senior photo session. Need some photos for your senior? Get in touch !
