Project 365: The Summer Part Of September • Rhode Island Family Photographer

I know there are people who love fall, who are excited for the arrival of pumpkin spice everything, and who look forward to cool temperatures and Halloween and apple cider as soon as the calendar turns to September.  News flash:  I am not one of those people.  I love summer, and heat (the hotter, the better.  Yes, I understand I'm crazy.)  I wait for summer for most of the year and mourn when it goes.

September in Rhode Island can go either way.  It can be very summery (as this September has been; hello heat wave!) or it can drop right into autumn before the equinox ever happens.  I'm happy the first part of September has been the former.  So what has happened during the first half of my September when I'm not busy being a family photographer around Rhode Island?  Highlights include:

  • A trip to Narragansett beach
  • Some Narragansett beer
  • Surfing and a beautiful sunset on 9/11
  • A photo from a shoot in East Matunuck
  • Cats.  Obviously.  Do you know me?
  • A dog.  I know!  Did I fall and hit my head?
