Annie's Forest Photo Session | RI Family Photographer
Bubbles and glitter: they are staples at my princess sessions and sessions with little kids. I drive around with both in my car; you never know when you might need one or the other (or both). These supplies don’t tend to come out as much at my sessions with adults, though they should. Just because we grow up doesn’t mean we stop having fun. My recent session with Annie is a testament to this.
Annie and I have changed our session date a few times because of covid. Back when we originally talked about it in late winter, she mentioned how she was drawn to the princess sessions that I do, and the locations I choose for them, and would like something similar for her own session.
We finally planned our session for mid-October. We lucked out with a beautiful day weather wise and had our session in a pine forest path in Charlestown. Annie came dressed in a gorgeous red dress (with matching Converse). And, in possibly the most amazing thing a client has ever done, she brought her own bubble machine. Brought. Her own. Bubble machine! She also brought along Moonie, a good friend of hers.
I met Annie in a local photography group online a few years back, and it was wonderful to finally meet her in person. She’s so easy to photograph and was all for a little twirling and “glitter” blowing (no real glitter was used in our session since we were in the forest and could not easily clean it up). We also got in some more traditional poses. It was a fun, magical session. Take a look below to see some of our images. Are you a grown up who needs some bubbles, twirling and similar fun in your life? Get in touch and we can book your session.
